help me identify this hood ?

I am hoping someone can help me identify what car this hood belongs to ?
The guys we bought our house from left it here & he was supposedly a mopar guy , but I can not figure it out.
I thought maybe it was rom an olds or pontiac something , but can't find anything like it there either....

looks like to a buick gs or something.....to me....some kinda gm i would guess

Yep a formula 400 Firebird to be exact, Not sure what year :thumbup:
 
was a gm..definitley not a gs though..a 76's formula..was close though.. hahah
 
76 and later Firebird Formula. I think it will fit 70 and later though.

I thought from the squareness of it that it was probably from a 60's car , one of the more "box" shaped.

The upwards curved lip at the firewall end of the hood rules it out being a Mopar hood... all '60's and '70's Mopar's had a cowl piece/section between the winshield and back edge of the hood whereas on most, if not all GM's, the back hood edge went up to the windshield.

Not all -- '73/74 Satellites and RR's extend to the windshield...

"C" Bodies also had hidden wipers behind the cowl part of the hood.

I was gonna say the same thing!
My brother is a big C-body guy that's the only reason i know that to,the C hoods weigh as much as a complete A-body !:lol:
