hello! can anyone help to identify this 4-speed set up? i bought it in a parts lot from a guy who had a 65 barracuda, and that's what he said it fits 64-66.so i tried to sell it,and was told that nothing in my pictures looks like it's from an early barracuda.does anyone have any ideas? thanks!

The shifter looks like an Inland shifter. Might be from a 66? I think they used them from 66 to sometime maybe in 68. The crossmember looks like Mopar but not A body. I think the fenderwell bracket with the ball stud is for a 64 to 66 A body. If it is, it's a hard piece to find. The Z bar looks like one from a 64 to 66 but they all sort of look alike. Somebody else here will probably know more than I do.

I think I answered this once before but I'll give it another try. Like '64 Cuda said, the frame bracket is early A-body but nothing else is. The crossmember is '64-5 B-body, the Z-bay looks like a later A-body or maybe F-body. The shifter looks like a combination of a 3 speed A-body stick and 4 speed mechanism. The Inland shifter has a T-handle reverse lockout trigger that moves a braided cable running down the center of the shift lever into the mechanism. From what I can see on yours, it's not that design. The rods look too long for an A-body transmission but that's just going by the photos. Measure the length and maybe someone will take the trouble to go measure theirs for comparison.
