i am looking for a place not too far from manchester,ct that can put in some add-a-leafs on my rear springs and won't want my first born.

I don't know, bud, but I will say this. !!!!!HELP!!!! is never, not ever, not even close, a good title for a thread. Nope. Nada.

better???????????????????????/

How 'bout something actually descriptive, AKA mechanic needed in "wherever I'm located" etc

We ASSUME you need some sort of help that is the purpose of the forum

What 67dart273 is saying, We want to help you BUT we want you to learn as well. One of the ways a person learns is by investigating the issue that they need help with. Bring you car over anytime, ill help you out! Im in San Diego tho. sorry

You are missing the point. Change the title of your thread to: "Anyone know of a good suspension shop in eastern CT?"

You will get some good replies. I can almost guarantee it.

Mike, I hope I am not getting too personal asking this, if so please forgive me. But I have no way of knowing without asking.

Is there some reason you cannot or do not want to do this yourself? It is a very simple procedure and one that I would be glad to walk you through on here or over the phone.

There's no reason you should pay someone to do this. It is an easy job and can be done in your own driveway with hand tools and the right safety precautions. If you're interested, PM me and I will try to help.

thanks rusty. The reason i have to pay to have someone do the work is because i am partially handicapped. I have probs with my legs.

Maybe i didnt exactlly post what i needed propperlly so i apologizes for that. have a good day all

at times its better to just gt new springs - less of a hassle too.

will your CURRENT strut/shocks set up support the extension?

I was going to recommend new springs, too. General Spring sells them very reasonably. Sorry about your predicament, Mike. If I was closer I would come sling you a pair of new springs on. Certainly there has to be a member in your area that can help you.

Thanks. I already have the add-a-leafs. A friend of mine bought them for me. He said he will put them on but he really doesn't have the time to do it. I hate to be a bother to anyone. It will get done . I just need to be patient.

Im home most days only work part time rest of time is spent working on car lol. only over in Farmington haven't fitted any of them before but with a Kiwi attitude of (can do and beer in hand while working on car) most things get sorted. actually going to be looking a replacing my springs shortly thinking they are a little flat to be able to get rid of the air shocks.
