I have installed a Lakewood bellhousing behind my hemi in my 68 Barracuda. The engine & bellhousing were installed together from the top.
After numerous calls to Mcleod, the new clutch has issues, it has to come out. So my question is: Can the bellhousing be removed without pulling the engine ? It looks so close to the firewall, I think not. It appears if I let the engine down in the back after removing the trans, it will just hit the firewall, as well as not being able to remove the bolts, - that's how it looks anyway, Anyone here deal with this before ?
Thanks in advance.

What you will need to do is this.Lift the motor and remove the mounts and lower the motor back down on a piece of wood in the front, allow the motor to tilt and then remove the housing, mrmopartech

The header is so close to the steering box, and the oil pump is also close to the K frame, I will be surprised if that will work, maybe drop the whole engine K frame and all a few inches ?
