help with a edelbrock 1405 missing part

im missing the pump discharge ball that goes used the brass weight just under the pump jet housing dont want to dish the 40 dollars to buy a whole rebuild kit. was looking to see if anyone had any laying around or know the size of the ball maybe can get it somewhere thanks guys.

I'm not sure that little ball even comes with a re-build kit? You could just ask to look at a re-build kit from your local parts store to see if it does. And most the time the part stores carb re-build kits are cheaper then say Edelbrock's re-build kit. If you have an autozone or Napa in your area I bet one of there kits would be around 15 bucks.

This thread from another site says the 1406 carb uses a .140 ball under the pump cluster/housing. Is this what your looking for.....I assume that all the 600 performers would use the same ball?
