hay guys at top end i have a miss or fuel loss or something....it sound like fuel but i tured the reg. up to 7psi the other day ...i have a msd 6al mopar dist. locked out and moros 8mm wire set new cap and rotor ...what do most of you as for fuel pres. its just at top end about 6800/7000...thanks
 
What pill do you have in the 6AL?

If it's fairly close say a 7000-7300, pull it and install one about 500 higher. The pill is a resistor and they've been known to start pulling spark as much as 500 rpm below the actual number on the pill.

I am running 7 psi fuel pressure on my 408 ,and mine has that miss your describing at 6100 .I would be curious to hear sum suggestions on this topic as well...
 
hay crackedback i checked the plugs yest. and the fr #1 and #2 dont look like the rest of the plugs....not what i am saying is that the last plugs #5/7/4/6 looks great to me and #3/4 looks okay but #1/2 looks a little like its not as tan and it doesnt have the look of the others if that makes any kind of since to you....maybe more jet up fr....i put 80 a few days ago but havent made it to the track yet..plan to go tomm.as for as chips i only have a 8000 next but atlease it will let me know if thats the problem or not.....anymore ideas just keep them comeing... how can i tell if its to lean?????? oh I have the 7000 pill in it now
 
Jet the front up 2 steps.

I bet it's the chip and possibly the leaner front half..
 
hay crackedback will i found out its the chip and I guess the lean fr half as well... went yest. had a new best and still got more in it....so i plan to go to 82 fr. and get some new chips or the dail set up that take the place of the chipsssss...im going to post my new time on the help with time slip tread so you guys can give me more on that thanks for all the help from all of you guys im going in the right way.......
 
put 8000 chip in it and problem gone so far thanks guys......
