Hi, I'm looking for a tool to remove a valve spring off a 426 Hemi without taking off the head. Who makes one that won't break/works ? Thanks.

I've used this on several engines (392 but not tried 426) and it has worked well every time. Got it from OTC but it dose not have a brand stamp anywhere,

THat one is made by KD Tools. Lisle has a handy one. Set it for the first spring and it works for them all. Lisle #16750

KD Tools also used to make one of those. I have two of them, as well as a thrift store unbranded one LOL. While they are not the "handiest" or fastest, they have always worked.

I want to thank all of you who responded with the info on removing Hemi valve springs while the head was still on. It's really helped.
