i got the mopar ones for 189.00 and got em out of the box... those things were crap. these are way stronger and not all the intrusive.

Very nice. 8)

3x3 tubing huh? looks like a pretty good set up to me. Do you have any more pictures? :-D

ok guys i dug up some more pics. i started by measuring from the trans crossmember to the end the frame rail were i wanted the connector to butt up against the brackets for the front spring hanger. it sound confusing but you will see in the pics what im talking about. i then measured from that back point and to the spot were the bar would poke thru the floor. i cut a piece about 8in long and then cut it down the side so that i had a piece of C-shaped metal. i use some duct tape to hold onto the frame rail and then used masking tape to trace the contour of the floor. then i dropped it all out and transfered it onto the actual connector.

then i trial fitted it and once i was happy with the length i drooped it out and cut another 1/8 off the front to allow for the plate.

and here is what it looked like before i put it in.

i then cleaned/grinded/wire wheeled the underside until i looked like obama

you can see how it fits around the floor adn the frame. i also had to trim the bracket for the bucket seat mt./brake line mt.

and there you have it. my car can sit on 3 jackstands and the doors still open like a new sedan.

I dunno man. Do you think they're beefy enough??

j/k. They look really good and best of all, they're home made. Good job.
