Every time I hear this song a sweet little car comes to mind. I wonder if that's what Darrel Sweet had in mind when he wrote it?

I was looking for a song and that song showed up and for got all about it grimreaper :eek:
I was looking for a Canadian song at the time :study:
I played it and Treva looked at me and smiled and said did you find a song for your car  I said no a member posted on here for me :iconbigg:

Thank you

I guess it's not exact though.....'cause it says, "We were cruisin' the strip every Friday night, Headin' for the beach in a two tone torque flight.

Not a three speed!

A cool old song that surprised me the first time I herd it and glad you dug it up for me
I like shifting Victoria, it is a vintage thing when it's on the tree :burnout:
As you can see this smilie shifts 3 time also :iconbigg: :burnout:

Ya shiftin' a three speed definitely brings more driver satisfaction.
I just wonder if Darrel had any idea he was actually referrring to a Mopar when he wrote "Torq-flite" in his song? As I understand it, he wrote the song in the later 70s but didn't include it on the Fool Circle album until 1981.

Thanks for that one.. had the cassette and this one got some good play in the old 68..
