high back bucket seat frames

Are the frames for high back buckets the same or do they vary by the car model. I purchased some seats that were supposedly out of a 77 roadrunner to put in my 72 dart and was wanting to recover them with the 72 style covers if possible. I will also be putting in new seat foam.

1972s are different than some other years. I have no experience with anything from '77, but the '72s have removable plastic rear panels if that helps?
