DuPont's Alesta Pipe Black, Leanna can share the details, I am sure she has used it. Wonderful stuff.

Do tips get that hot (over 275?) or whatever powdercoat cures at?

Pishta, at WOT over time, the muffler can get up to 700 degrees F internally but the shells likely not. The tips should never get that hot and I seriously doubt they will get hot enough to hurt regular good paint.
The Alesta cures at 450 to 500 degrees F.

Good to know, what does an iron manifold get to? I have a crack in a L6 aluminum intake and want to use a low temp (600-800) muggy weld type filler in there. Its right where it counts, in the choke stove/intake floor right above the cast iron exhaust. Nothing really wild, maybe a minute or 2 at full spool at 9psi. Bear in mind that it gets cooled on one side from the intake charge and heated on the other from the exhaust.

WOT maybe 1250 degrees F under boost if it is lean. This is pretty close plus or minus 100 degrees F I suspect.
