hold your hood!

Hi guys and gals, just wondering what other members here do to hold there fiberglass hoods in the up position. I'm tired of getting comments about my no matching numbers broom stick! If you have a cool solution, I'd love to see it!

I made aluminum rods to go on my pins up to the holes in the hood-- 30 inches long--Come to Indy and see them!!!!! Steve

Look up Riddler and check out his restoration, he has a few parts that he connected to the hinges of the hood that will hold the hood up..

Put on some light weight hood springs.

I put light weight springs on my car and they were not strong enough to hold open my hood, a glass one with a frame. Ended up using a prop rod from late 80's or so Rustang. If you look at post 155 http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=104301&page=7 you can barely see it....
