I have a set of Holley valve covers similar to the ones in the picture. Anyone else run these? Where did you get grommets and what breathers are you running?
I have a oil filler cap in one hole, so that leaves me with two holes 1 1/2 in diameter.
Thanks!

I used twist on breathers, twist on stock type oil fill and a grommet like the one in the picture for PCV.

I have these on my 408 but when i bought them there were no holes in them yet, so I machined the covers to fit whatever grommets AutoZone had on hand

Im in the same boat here, for my edlbrock covers. If i find a block of rubber, im going to try machining what i need.

Check with Autozone, as they have a fair selection on the help wall.

They are the same as the M/T valve covers but not the same as the Mopar Performance covers.

IIRC the 1.5" holes are for the push in breather and the PCV valve. The other knockouts accept a 1/4 turn cap (or breather). In fact, looking at your picture those two open holes may be the 1/4 turns.
Holley p/n 241-214 has two grommets with a 3/4" PCV hole for the M/T valve covers.

I went on to edelbrock site to find grommets, nothin. The make tge cover,no grommet.im not giving up that easy.

Yes, dorman has a wide selection, but the measurement is actual o.d. So to find grommets will be a chore unless you can find an application that is a match to what you need.

Yep, and thickness of the material the grommets go in vary also, adding another dimension to find.
(Like cast covers vs steel with a rolled edge to the grommet holes.)

Just went through the same thing with a set of old M/T valve covers I bought. Holley quit making the 1.5" grommet that bushes down to the pcv size. I found a 1.5" with a bigger hole and then a pack of 5 misc sizes at OReillys. So ended up with a grommet inside a grommet, but it works great.
