Homemade power bulge

anybody ever build a bulge hood...custom style...thinking of going this way instead of scoop... anybody make a custom hood?

No power bulge but it is a custom hood. 2010 Challenger hood skin replaces the original skin. Here is a link to a photo.

Looks nice on boxy dart. Probably not as nice on a swoopy early barracuda

Here is one I built with the help of a friend and his plasma cutter
It has been on 4 trucks for the last 15 years.
72 roadrunner hood , I have seen this dun to a 66 barracuda and it looked great

Thank you 73AdodEE, It is functional when I take the inserts out.
I wish I still had the picture of the 66 barracuda some one did, it looked super good.

I have a set of the bulges cut out of an original hood.
Was thinking about making my own powerbulge hood, but putting the bulges in a different location than normal, or swapping them side to side, so the chrome inserts face toward the center instead of outward.

I'll make you a deal on the bulges if you want to give it a try yourself. Just pm me if interested.

I like that roadrunner hood...

I picked it because it was a bad hood to begin with and back in the day
I knew I wanted some fresh air getting dumped down on top of my 360
and does look good.

I wonder if I could do a jell cell mold off of mine and you find some
inserts and bolt them on..:coffee2:
This has me thinking that it sure would be allot lighter by at lest 20 lb's.

make's me think this could be dun, I would hope Plymouth would mind if I had
some made up as a bolt/glue on :glasses7:
