Second time I have heard Ace Hardware . . . do they have the actual stud or just threaded rod??

r/t specialties sells them. they sell original studs and nuts. 60-70 bucks for the set? if you don't care a about original you can epoxy in 1/4 in. studs. most hardware stores should have them.

Go to a u-pull-it. Most all cars that have fiberglass fender extensions or quarter extensions have these same studs. Or holding on a front facia on a car. I spent a hour or so with a battery operated saw-all and got more then I needed.

i just used 1/4 inch all thread, and cap nuts.i was not worried about having the "correct" pieces. just strong and durable. they worked great. 90 mph, and never lost a scoop.
