hood spring retainers

could any one tell me where i can find hood spring retainers for a 68 barracuda?had 1 break and the spring came off the stud.ant help would be appreciated.thanks

Got mine from an auto parts store , A KOI here in Ohio...... Pretty common stuff.
Lowes didn't have the correct size when I went there , plus they were much more $
5/16" if I remember right, but take an old one with you

thanks guys.found them at the locale ace hardware.didn`t think it would be that easy.by the way,they are 1/2 in.

driill the pivot and put a flat washer and a hairpin clip.....in case ya get the urge for the no hood look and it sure makes painting and asembleing ,disassemblng easier without pulling the fender but then again I can still reach my hand thru that hole for the hood hinge......:cheers:
