Hood Torsion Bar Removal (and Installation?)

Hood torsion spring installation: I made a little brace to help make sure the hinge does not go flying into space when I bend the torsion springs into position with a modified socket. (well, actually a welder guy made these things for me for $13.00 USD) Haven't tried the stuff out yet, waiting for the drum roll.
