Hooker Headers- Passenger Side

Need some help!

I have a 1972 340 Duster that I have a set of Hooker headers for...Driver side fits (tight) but the passenger side is hitting the torsion bar. The car ride height needs to get adjusted as I just got it out of the paint shop.

Any advice? I want to adjust the ride height to see if' I can get enough clearance to get the header in place. It is sitting off of the head ~1/4" at the bottom so I am real close.

Sounds like you are having the same problem I am (http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=334988) haven't figured it out either. Let me know if you figure it out and I'll do the same. Going to try again tomorrow.

I have used a big hose clamp to pull a tube away from things and then a nice tack weld to another tube to keep it there.
Just a possibility if it'll help you guys.

At first I was worried it might pull a spot out of one of the tubes, but it seems the heat cycling relaxed the tube so it stayed with out pulling a hole in one.
