a buddy of mine posted a video of my car on youtube. should i check out some slicks and leave the drag radials alone.

Put more air in the rear tires looks like it sways at speed. Most guys running et radials are in the high teens, low 20's.

Get a better pair of rear shocks to control the axle/body separation. Looks like the car jumps and unloads. They could be too short.

The front of the car doesn't look like it works at all, maybe an inch or two of travel. Try to get it in the 5" range.

Your car does not look like there is any lift at all on the front. You need to get a set of adjustable shocks on the front. As for the rear axle, you did not say what you rear set up is.

the rear has cal tracs with some cheap auto zone shocks. just bought new comp eng shocks all the way round.

I wouldn't get rid of the drag radials..what brand are you using??..m/t's seem to hook the best so good theres guys in the 9's with them..get the caltracs dialed-in, some good shocks, and heat those drag radials up in the video it seemed you didn't heat them up enough..

to make the caltrac's work right you need the adjustable ranchos on the rear. then you gotta get that front end up, use some calvert 90/10's, cut down the snubbers for the upper control arms to get more travel. if its got a sway bar take it off

Send the Comp Eng shocks back and get the Rancho 9 ways at a minimum.

Can I ask what is your entire suspension set up on that car? How do you like the 90/10's for street assuming thats what you are using?

rear
calvert mono's/bars and the single adjustable's they recommended
hoosier quick time DOT's 29x14.5

Front
the original BB torsion bars to the car, only cuz the motor so damn heavy
RMS tubular uppers
RMS adjustable strut rods
calvert 90/10's
Hochkis tie rods

i usually don't drive the car on the street much with the calvert 90/10's with the car being so nose heavy and the roads so rough in michigan it tends to get a little to bouncy. i think they would be fine with a small block or aluminum headed big block. i have some adj comps i switch back if im not doing any track time.

the calvert bars work awesome, it did take some time and alot of experimenting for me to get the car to hook. they are sensitive to the rear shock adjustment, as well as pre-load. every change i've made to loosen up the front has really helped.

when i first started this is how it left

with some tweaking and tubular parts up front it went to this

I love watching your car leave the line....and the comp behind.

I would lower the car, it looks like your hitting the limiters on the front. I would get the front down like 71/72s Duster and then lower the rear to get your center of gravity back towards the rear.

what is the part # for the ranchos with a stock height rear.
changes ive made
i just put lighter wheels up front summit brand five stars
removed sway bar
and i just put some of those 90/10 summit drag shocks on the front
im going to take to the alignment place and have them lower the car it thanksgiving today and they are closed
