AM putting an aftermarket steering wheel on 1969 Dart swinger. Removed old wheel and found horn switch spring loaded switch with one wire. my question were does this wire get power to activate horn? it goes down collum and over to horn relay and on to S terminal.

It should be a ground switch for the relay. No power going to it, relay should have power at one side of the coil, horn switch grounds the other side of the coil in the relay.

when you push the horn, the 2 plates contact and make ground. like goody said, the horn wire is just a ground to complete a circuit.

Sounds good. So if i were to remove the wire from the terminal that comes from the switch and ground it with a jumper the relay should close and send power to the horn?

Thanks again. I unhooked the wire from the switch jumped to ground . No luck. I guess my relay is shot? . I have power on other terminal and the one going to horn works when power is put on it.
