HorsePower 360 build on Spike?

It sounds a little far fecthed but i also had a decent score a few years ago. It seems some guy had left a lot of parts in his mothers basement in Westminster,MD he wanted to get rid of it becaused he had moved to Washington state. And his mom wanted her basement back.
When I got there I was like a kid in the proverble candy store got an abody 8.75 complete (open) newly rebuilt 318 manifold to pan
complete spool mount k frame with all arms and brake hardware a ford 9 inch
posi center section. and a lot of other misc. stuff thats to hard to list all for $425.00
 
The remark that about rolled me in the floor was "We discovered it had a 3.58 crank-"Thought this was a 360 to start with??? Whoever sold them that was an air-head,the manifold and rockers were worth almost twice what THEY say they paid for the motor. Hadda laugh when "Well,it's not the best looking motor we've ever done, let's see how it runs-" Let's see, you painted it your choice of colors, it's got chrome,and aluminum,(which they were too damn LAZY too polish) and yer whinin??? The only ugly thing about that little motor was the supporting (NOT!!) cast it was stuck with. I guess the only people they wanna impress are the kids who can whine Dad & Mom into a new Camaro or Mustwang. We're just too old-school here people, you actually need a brain and hafta give a damn to work on our stuff. Notice they're chicken to bolt that into anything but a dyno.Their other projects would get their generic butts whupped!!
