i switched out my 318 for 360 added pertronix ignitor 2 with flame thrower coil got the two wires from new ignitor 2 hooked to coil but cant find my hot wire from ignition anywhere, does anybody know where to look for it or how i can hook from ballast resistor to coil? thanks

I am confused by your question. The blue wire from the ballast resistor to the + side of the coil stays right where it is on the + side of the coil. The black wire from the Pertronix connects to the - side of the coil and the red wire is attached to a switched 12v source, i.e. the up stream side of the ballast resistor.

thats my problem i cant find my 12 v wire and only have the 2 wires that came with new ignitor and was wondering if i could just use the hot wire off ballast resistor to be my third wire going to coil as 12 v from ignition, and maybe hook neutral from ballast resistor to coil or not use nuetral from ballast resistor at all, you see in my engine swap something happened to my 12 v wire from ignition, and i know that one side of ballast resistor is hot from ignition. there is no third wire coming out of ballast resistor, and i need a hot wire from somewhere to my coil? please help thank you
