Hot engine stalll

You guys are the best. Have not let me down yet.
Symptom...
When warm and I crank the wheels making the power steering pump work the motor wants to die. At idle with a/c on it wants to die. At idle when hot (not warm) in traffic the motor surges up and down and wants to die. When it's cold runs like a champ.
I've been told dirty carb or vacum leak.
HELP !!!
72 scamp - 318 - 2bl carb.

If the A/C actually works,check the idle step up motor/voltage to match..
