How are Duster side pop-out windows held in place?

My 71 Duster was recently painted and all window gaskets replaced. The side pop-out windows are now too low and they drag the metal below the window when opened. How are these windows held into place and what can I do to keep the leading edge of the window from sliding down? (It seems that they now can slide up and down a small amount). Is there supposed to be some kind of sticky strip installed under the chrome to keep them in place?

main screw under inside wing panel
two screws at the front
did you lower window stainless railing
need's to be tight seal to the top and outside edge

eV2 - I didn't do the work so I don't know if the stainless railing was lowered. Any suggestion on how to get instructions on tearing the window down so I can try to figure what's wrong? There's a vertical chrome piece on the leading edge of the window that I probably need to remove - but it isn't intuitively obvious how to get it off.
