How emergency brake cable conencts to emergency brake lever

I didnt get enough pictures of the bottom assembly of the brake, and i dont see how the cable actually connects to the metal piece.

No sorry it’s where the cable itself ends in the brakes and is supposed to connect to the metal lever that is connected to the shoe

Did a quick net search and found a photo of the A-body parking brake levers and it looks like there's a bent slot that the cable end slides into.

I saw that bent piece didn’t think to slide it through though I’ll try that really quickly

It connects to the bracket (lever) that is on the back of the shoe. The pictures are of the passenger side.

you need to push the spring away from the feral. a medium sized pair of needle nose pliers will usually work
