How fast will my car run

Hi...

I wish ist the same question as 2 other threads in this forum.

But i have other components an an other car and i dont no what it will run.

`67 Barracuda Notchback
The car is completly stripped.
No innerfender in the front,only the rollcage.
Doors and hoods are lightwight build in metal.
Windows are plexi
It has only an 16 point roll cage,an driverseat,shifter and instrument board in it.
The engine is an `67 318 ,060 over
Stock Crank,rods and heads (i will port they after the first race saison or i will put ported 360cui heads on the block)
10:1 Forget Pistons
SSI 280/290 Cam
Mallory ignitation
Doppel Roller
M1 or Strip Dominator Intake
up to 150 shoot NOS
650 Race Holley DP
Headers
2 1/2" ex
2000 Stall TCI Saturday Night Spezial converter
Tranny is a Supergas 727 TQF full manuel without transbrake.
Rearend 8,25" with Spool and 4,10 or 4.56 gear
Slicks in moment 29,5-9/15
leaf spring relocation kit and SS leaf springs

I will hope the car runs without NOS deep 14
and with NOS deep 13 and later in the 12.
Can i put any Alu heads on a 318?
When i look on our shop websites,they write only 340-360.
I dont no why,i think the bore of the 318 is to small.???
I hope sometime i can see the eyes of the BB guys here in germany when the car runs 11 and i can say "yes its a 318 no stroke engine" :)
 
Need more converter, for that kinda cam. 14's should be do able, just need the right combo of parts, but why spool the rear if you plan to drive on street, that is not a good idea, spools are for higher HP cars. Good luck with your project.
 
We have also an 8" high stall converter from our S/G Dragster.
But i think its to high.
It was behind an 9000 rpm W5 Supergas Engine.
I build my car only for Strip but in moment i haven`t enough mony to build an bigger engine.
That`s all parts they i have in moment.
So i will drive in the next 2 years only ET Bracket.
When i have enough money in 2-3 years i will build an 408 or 417 W5 stroker and will drive SST 10,9 ET.

I also think that the stock 318 heads will restrict you quite a bit. Probably magnum heads, J-heads or equivalent, or maybe even 302 318 heads, would go better with your current combo, and bring your times down, as well as perform better on the street, JMO, Mike
 
At first. Sorry for my last post,i push the wrong button and now i can`t delete the post.

In moment i have only this heads.
I search a set of 340x or 360 heads.
How big are the valves in the 360 heads?
In ebay germany is one 360 head for sale but i need 2 heads. :)

I hope also i get next year an Converter with an higher stall speed.
 
Hi...

Now i have ported J-heads,an torker intake and an 250+hp NOS cheater system.

I will hope that`s bring the et under 14sec.:smile:
