Looked up online for new part delivered to my door in 48 hours or less. $55 and change. I cleaned the cabinets and discarded old stuff and combined things to save space.
Looked up rebuild kit $11.99 at AutoZone can get today. New Location in the Old Goodwill store that closed up so wondred what it looked like anyway (size wise)
Wife says I will go with ya to get out the house. Washed her car, waxed, detailed inside.
Then check all fuilds and top the ones off in her car. We get in and drive past the AutoZone 1/2 mile to get gas at Sam's Club, since it's so close. And her car would be all ready for being a Road Worrier again. Put in $18.00 of gas. Her Four_In_Car has a 12.3 gallon tank and gets little over 30mpg so Tank last a long time.
Now back to the plan, on the way home stop at Tha-Zone to get $12.00 part. Mission accomplished! We now window shop the New Zone! She says we need Rain-X windshield washer stuff for Ice And Snow it is Winter and wants it in case. Keep in mind it last snowed in New Orleans in 2008! Wife is always right, and happy wife right? So we grab one bottle. She grabbed some other crap and Asin type power steering fluid as I used the last drop. We head to the counter. Checkout lady starts looking at the washer fluid and says this is what ever price or 2 for 10. So we get a second one.
We get a total 20 something bucks more than what the new part would have been to my door. And I still have to build the part instead of just poping a box open
We get home and put stuff in cabinet that is now filling all the space I made back up. I think I may have more oil and products than the Zone has again so mission accomplished.
