Well, since I have started using this site I have been blessed with a non stop flow of information and part resources.
Now I'm going to test my luck.

I need a cowl section for a 66 cuda, needs to be in good shape! Not so thin the second I hit it with a wire wheel or brush I see light. I have been looking for awhile, I know this is a tall order, I have purchased a couple end sections that were almost as bad as what i have (Unuseable) so........would appreciate any help if it is out there to give!

66 cuda and 65 dart the same???? I have a 65 dart parts car that will get cut up over the next couple months. Haven't looked at the condition of the cowl but the car is not a total rust bucket. I'm using most of the floor pan and trunk pan(well) in my car. I'll be pulling the car in this weekend to start cutting the parts I need, I can check it then....if central PA is not too far...

Dave thats promising. they are the same! I'm in va beach but if its usable, you can dump it in a box and UPS it or even greyhound. I have gotten doors that way as well.
I think when its all said and done I will have replaced all but 20% of this cuda. Cant wait till I have an assembled unit so I can get back in the garage! Ha Ha

Yea, I know what you mean about getting back into the garage...I just moved my wife's Mustang GT into a storage unit so I could get the parts car inside. It's still going to be tight cause my 65 is scattered about along with the interior out of my 66, not to mention a few leftover Chevy 355's from the stock car days taking up space.
I'll check that out as soon as I can for you...

Thank You Dave!

I need to again say thank you to all who keep this thing going daily!

I belong to a jeep group here in Va Beach that works almost as well as this does .....I do alot of mechanic (lift) work and modifications for that group and love it.

Thanks again Dave look forward to hearing if it will be useable!

are you conna replace the whole piece ends and all or just weld in the centr grating

I am hoping to replace the whole thing, the end piece search has just cost me $ without a good replacement so far! I cant even sell the pieces I bought they are so crappy!

Got a picture? I have a 65 cuda that has plenty of parts but not sure which one you are refering to. Tune me up and i may be able to help.

I'm looking for the whole cowl section, this is from a duster but you get the idea. Generally they rust pretty bad in the inside corners due to leaves and othe rcrap getting in there over the years causing moisture to build up and plug the drain holes. I've had a couple off line offers just loking for a solid piece!
