Anyone know how many crank HP the stock mech fuel pump can support? An electric fuel pump (Like an unbranded holley blue) isn't too expensive, but thats money which isn't being spent on other aspects of my build. Down the track It'll need a decent fuel pump on account of an intended 150hp shot, but in the interim, it'd be helpfull to invest that coin elsewhere.

There's a stock look Carter (NOT the the rebuildable version..) that I use that has done fine with 5/16 line at around 460hp. I think it's like $40?

i wouldnt spend the money on those unbranded holley blues....every person who has says they are absolute junk so save your money and put it towards the real stuff- a holley blue isnt that expensive anyways...not sure if the stock mechanical will be up to the task of the nitrous depending on what your car is on motor and then spray, but if your dead set on going electric, check out some of the walbro pumps...cheap and reliable pumps that are quiet too
