Purchased a buddy seat on line and it seems a lot bigger/longer than I expected. Do these things fit both A and B bodies? Do they differ depending on the model year? Are they only for column shift automatics? Thank you.
How many versions of "Buddy Seats" are there?

Three, maybe four that I can think of.
Early B (maybe C) with "triangle" shaped rest.
Mid B with equal width rest and base.
Late B (Cordoba) which is wider.
I know there's an A version for Valiant Broughams/Dart SE's, but haven't measured one.
