How Much Compression?

My 318 2 barrel engine is supposed to be rebuilt, to stock specs. I have started gathering some speed parts, in hopes of gaining a little more performance out of it. If I do a compression test, how much PSI should I expect? I want to tear into the engine, and do a cam/lifter/valve spring swap, and top it off with an Edelbrock Performer manifold, and Performer 600 cfm carb.

It's more like where are you and what did it pump rather than what should you get.. If they are all within a few percent of each other and say between 125-150psi at sea level I'd think you're warm...
