I've been pondering this for quite some time, and I'd like to get it fixed.

The grill on my 68 Barracuda looks to have a few "teeth" knocked out of it just to the right of my passenger headlight. It seems to be some sort of hard plastic.

Any ideas how to fix it without buying a new grill?

If you had it all apart today I could give you a short section of ribs to glue in there. The best way I've found to do anything with those grilles is pull the bumper off the pull the entire header panel off. Lay it face down on an old blanket then take it apart. You might get your tools to all the nuts holding that center section in though. Good luck

Getting it apart isn't the problem. It's how to repair it as I've yet to find any decent cheap ribs to place in there.

They all seem to be over priced!

cost me 1.81 to mail a section for repair. You are very welcome. Glad I could help.

I had the exact same problem and did replace a section.I cut out the section and re-opoxyed it back in.The only problem I have is the peice is silver and the rest is dark grey.So now I have to find out the proper color to paint it.Good luck!
