if you have bigblock mounts see if a 383 ,400 or 440 block will bolt up to it. I dont think they had k member casting numbers but you may look for a part # and see. then research the part #and pray its not the 67 as it had the funky front of engine block style mount.dont know if you can interchange this mount with the 68s and 69s,if not you will need a block with the mounting bolt in front of block for the 67 mount. easier just to buy aftermarket mount kits for the money as all k frames from the slant 6 to the hemi are of equal strength. cheaper to just use what you have and schumacker mounts.
No such BB K member came out in a duster. The BB K members that came out in the darts will fit a duster and that maybe what took place. Are the mounts spool type or bolt up? That will help indentify the year. 73 and up will be spool.
No spools, biscuit. Yeah, I know there were no BB Dusters (I don't think the seller knew) Got the K member, LCA's and strut rods - 50.00. IF it is from a BB A-body it'd be sweet. I'll post pics if it'll help.
On a big block K member, the driver side motor mount is forward of the passenger side. Thats because the drivers side motor mount bolts up to the two forward ears of the block and also two bosses on the front of the engine block. On the passenger side, the motor mount bolts only to the block ears on the side of the block.

Thanks guys - looks like it's small block - he was only going by what he was told. He's actually going to give me my money back and reimburse me for some of the gas AND I keep the part. Still some decent folks out there.
What is a factory big block K member worth? I found one for $200, didn't know if it is a good deal or not. Said it came out of a factory big block Dart.
abodyjoe, you are my hero, you always seem to have the picture, diagram or schematic for everyone to see. I wanna page through your library sometime, it's gotta be a good read!!! Geof
