I am sure to install this thing upside down if I don't ask first. It is positioned and screws into the tunnel directly above the A904 transmission (in my case, a '65 Barracuda V-8). One side is a narrow ridge and the opposite side is a flat square "base". Part #2206965 (I dare anyone to find that part number online anywhere!) I could not find the part pictured/mentioned in my official factory service manual. Does the rib side go down or up? Thank you.

P.S. It is installed with the ridge side "up" and the flat side down. It fits into a notch in the crossmember as the crossmember crosses over the tunnel.

Yes, as you mentioned it goes ridge side up. I was unable to find it either when I redid the underside of my 63 dart. And as I am sure you know already or figured out the plastic plug goes in from the inside and the end of the bolt sticks through it.
