How to remove oil filter plate?

Hey guys, Swithcing to a 90 degree oil filter adapter to clear headers not sure how the original unit which the filter is screwed into is removed? the 1" bolt head is stripped. Any advice on this would be helpful.

can you find the thread size where the oil fliter screws on and double nut it?

i remember some had a 3/8 hex inside the threaded stub, try a 3/8 extension and ratchet in worse case put a pipe wrench on it

There is a square hole up in there that a 3/8 drive extension will fit into.
