hi guys i bought a new dash pad for my 73 duster, problem is how do i take off the old one? lol!

Theres 6 nuts under the dash frame and 1 screw in each corner.
the pad has studs on the backside and the nuts are undernneath. The 2 turned down ends have a sheet metal screw instead. Have Fun

ok so go from under the dash to get to the studs?

The system has failed!
It's real easy to do, of course I've probably pulled over 100 of them(71-4 B-bodys with AC are way worse). It's especially easy if you have a 3/8 nut driver. The six nuts are 3/8 and I believe the sheetmetal screws that go into the dash on the corners are a 5/16 head( I actually took a quarter inch drive 5/16 deep socket and tapered the edge on it so it would fit in the rounded corner of the dash carrier better, it's a life saver). If you have AC, it's a real *****. the studs and nuts are on the underside of the dash so you have to do som gymnastics stretching exercises and back bending to get to them.
