I've got some strange things going on with my brakes and have started going through it all. The sticky widget is the proportioning valve. How would one test or validate that it's working the way it should, or what are the symptoms of a bad valve.
Another question: What is the mounting orientation? Mine is on the inner frame rail with the line from the master cyl for the rear brakes pointing straight up.
