What did you have it behind, and how did it work? stahl?

It was behind my 273 Commando. It worked great and stalled as advertised. Only reason I changed it out was my cam required a higher stall. 65

Pardon my ignorance on these. I'm pulling an original 273 Commando engine from a 65 on Monday. What would this upgrade do for me over the standard converter? I'll be running an ISKY cam with an RPM range of 2000-5500 and will keep the original 3.23 gear ratio that came with the tow package that year. Thanks.
