If you weren't aware the ramrod shifter isn't quite a bolt in replacement for the A body even with all the correct Hurst A body installation parts.
It does work but cutting is required. The straight rods that are a big part of why they work well are the reason for the need for cutting.
If you were determined to use the ramrod and wanted your car to remain uncut you will have to make your own mounting bracket and rods.

can I get a pic of that mounting bracket. I had a mr g ram in the car before, they take up much more room than the hurst unit. like you. SERIOUS tunnel mods are required.been there, done that.
