Hurst Shifter Rebuild

I did a search here and came up with nothing...

Wondering what my options are for having my Hurst Comp Plus shifter rebuilt. It shifts like a straw in sand and really don't want to send it out. Is there anything availiable? Thanks guys.

I figured I'd answer my own question so maybe someone else has it easier....


I found a vendor on e-Bay that makes his own:

Last I heard it cost over $200 to have Hurst rebuild your shifter. For $23 I'll take my chances on a rebuild kit!

That is nice. I was looking for some thing like that. I don't know why Hurst cant make a rebuild kit. Must be to hard to rip people off if they did.

Before hurst was purchased by B&M, rebuilds were in the $100 range, now they are $250 for an OEM shifter, IIRC.

That increase occurred almost right after the purchase.

Send it to Brewer's Performance, he might even have rebuilt one on the shelf in exchange for yours.

Just woundering if you got the kit and how was it? I need to rebuild my sloppy shifter too.
