What bulb socket is needed for the 73+ HVAC controls light? It's a single bulb, (I believe) but the control housing is plastic, so how does the socket gets ground?

Also, is the bulb a 1895?
Thanks!

Its a plastic light socket. It has a hot and ground wire going to it.
Not sure of the bulb type.

Hmm... Mine is missing the socket. I thought it was the same size bulb as the side markers lights, 1895. However I can only find they socket in a single wire.

Ok. When I search for a socket for that bulb, I come up with the same 1 wire. I guess I need to find a parts car.

Bulb number 192 bayonet type (same as the marker lights)
That is what my 73 has if I remember correctly.
White plastic 2 wire socket that presses in.

It is not a 194 like the side markers. If it was not such a pain in the *** to get out I would pull mine and get a pic. You have to be freaking gumby to articulate in there to remove it.
I can see if I can find one on a junk harness if you would like.

It is possible to have a socket for this bulb with only 1 wire. It gets its ground from the panel it snaps into. However, since the AC panel is plastic you need this two wire socket.
