Who currently makes the best hydraulic roller lifter (B/RB/Gen II Hemi) for a street
driven 400/470 or 440 with a 550 lift hydraulic roller camshaft?

Are any of these the new short-travel style lifters that resist collapse at high rpm?

Yeah.....I know that the first set are "Chinese Specials".

Call Mike at MRL and talk to him. He will talk to you and answer any of your questions. He has started producing and selling some.

Well, I just noticed they are solid. You could still call him and ask, couldn't hurt.

Thanks. Although all opinions are welcome I'd like to hear from someone who has
"hands-on" experience or directly related facts about any of these. MRL is certainly
well qualified.

I don't have "direct" experience, but I have a friend who is a rustang guy and he SWEARS by those chinkese lifters. They are all he runs and he has never had a problem with them. Even the local machine shop we both use is impressed with them. Although I do not have the link bar type, I have that brand in the little 302 Ford roller motor I just built. They look real nice to me.

That's refreshing and I would like to hear more from others because they are

I N E X P E N S I V E !
