I returned on Wednesday from the Pebble Beach Show in Northern
Calif. I was at the Robb RePort Inaugural Party in Monterey Calif.,
for the RM auction. They had all their vehicles on display in the
host hotel, Portola Plaza, I used my Mid-western charm and I
got a a host to let me sit in the '71 Hemi-Cuda for a couple minutes,
I was in heaven... it was a Pistol-Grip 4-speed car no-console
but other wise super loaded. I thought the color would keep it
from a high bid (brown..bronze w/ brown interior but no chance.
On, Friday the final bid was in my title, I did see the guy drive
it from outside to inside the hotel. The wickedest car I did
see drive in was a Baldwin-Motion '69 454 Corvette ...
I am not in to Stingray Corvette's but this ride was one
