Well, been a member for a while, having several 71 Darts, but finally the Holy Grail, for me anyway. Hello, I just picked up this 68 Barracuda. Mild 67 hp 440, Liberty faceplated 18 spline 4 speed, narrowed Dana, Caltracs and monoleafs, frame tied, and Clark, she's a beaut. My friend and his wife bought it 25 years ago. They built it in 4 years, drove it for 12, and he passed away 8 years ago. She was finally able to let go of it, and I was first on the list to ask. He was an amazing guy, so naturally, it's an amazing car.

It's a stock build, 8.5 to 1, 450 lift Comp cam. Basically, a dead stock motorhome 440.. for now. It does have a couple pieces of the puzzle on it now, though. Super Sniper Holley FI, TTI, Liberty faceplated 18 spline, 3.54 , 35 spline Moser Dana60 with a Powerloc, Caltracs and mono's, mini tubbed. Fun, fun ,fun

How were you able to type all that stuff with no arms or legs cuz I know that one arm and one leg wouldn't have been enough to buy the car?????
 
Nice 68, so what were the dyno results?
 
I'd leave it low compression. Talk about an everyday FUN cruiser.
