My wife comes home tonight and Im sitting on my chair relaxing. She looks at me and says she wanted to get something out of the freezer in the garage but someone (me Im guessing) has stuff piled on the lid so she couldnt open it. I ask her what she wanted out of it and told her I would get it. So after I went out to the shed and spent the night rebuilding my door hinges and hanging my passenger door I go back in and head for the freezer to get her container of soup. When I open the top theres a frozen paper cup of water in there with a quarter frozen on the top. So im thinking why did she do that? Well I ask her if she was hiding money from me and she tells me that as long as that quarter stays on the top of that cup you know that you didnt loose power and also the freezer has been working properly. Damn, I never would have thought about that. Guess she taught me something!

interesting

about 2 months ago i noticed my outside fridge was on...well, the fridge
mostly, the freezer section seemed not as cold as it should be

i didnt think much of it, figured the outdoor season was pretty much over, and id worry about it next spring

well, 2 weeks ago i went to go grab a drink from the outside fridge and it turned out, the fridge section was actually colder then it should be
as in, 2-3 dozen cans of pop had frozen and popped open
that was a terrible mess

(naturally, i closed the door, snuck back inside and asked the wife to go grab me a pop)
