I may have been wrong about the 73 up 7 1/4 axle tube size

After finally getting my son's car on the jackstands it looks like the axle tube size is still 2 1/2 inches on his 7 1/4. I know I saw them with larger tubes in the bone yard but it must have been the later M bodies I was recalling. I know the brakes will still fit because we tested them earlier.

Anyway I'm sorry for any confusion I may have caused.
