Greetings folks,
I'm starting assembly of the 69 Dart (w/AC) and between all the time that has passed and the location moves, some items have gotten away from me (mostly screws and bolts so far).

On top of that I can't remember where some of the parts go lol.
For example the brackets in the attached images, I don't remember what they are and I'm hoping you all can remind me.

Thanks!
AlV

Here's another pic to help identify what these are.
Thanks

I'm clueless. Bump for you. Maybe your stating what vehicle will help.

Thanks Redfish. Good point!
I edited the original post with the car and year (69 Dart w/ AC)

My first thoughts are that they possibly come from under hood,
The the painted pieces might be brackets for AC or heater hose (idk)
The unpainted pieces I have no clue.

It might help if your pics gave an indication of the size of those pieces. I usually use a quarter or $ bill or something when taking pics to help people visualize size....

Good Luck & another bump :)

Thanks for the bump

Been awhile but I believe those hold the grill to the core support. The blue ones anyway.

The unpainted pieces look like they would fit between the firewall and the brake booster.IDK

Thanks for helping! its a good thought but unfortunately this is a manual brake car.

I really wish i could remember what these are.

Can you share a picture of what your thinking?

I'll dig through my photos also... maybe I captured it.

thanks for helping :)

Give ssba a Cigar!

You nailed it. I went back to some photos of the deconstruction and BAMM! there they are., the painted brackets support the grill.

Thanks! Now I just need to figure out the other two pieces.

I ask why did the factory use so many unnecessary parts????? I can always put the car back together and have SOooo many parts left over!!!??????

Hood bracket? Latch area. Under dash parking brake handle support.

The Parking Brake!! you might be on to something there. I don't have photos of that, may maybe someone can share some?

lololo! I hope I don't have any parts left over :)

I'm thinking the unpainted pair has something to do with your air conditioning option since I don't remember those on my car. Condenser in front of radiator mounts?
My car has no AC so I can't be sure.

I haven't found a picture of the condenser set up yet, but I'm still looking. :)
