well i plan to try and get the car out some and want to make some changes that has been sugg.as stated its a 340 with 11.5.1 comp. and i run 111 race fuel in it but was told to try some 100 which i plan to do after a back to back run with the way it is right now for a base line....i have i think auto 63 plugs now what do you think i should try since going down on the fuel???? i have ran the 65s before but thought i would see if i need to go hotter...timing is at 36 locked out ...car has a comp soild cam 520/540 244/252 @ 50 with 16/18 lash....i plan to open that up a littler to see if this thing would like more cam...just trying to do the little things that dont cost alot right now plan on getting a 8" verta for it this yr soon....4.57 gears and 28/10.5 m/t slicks car runs great and cool great never over 180..oh and plan to try a diff. carb on it as well it has a 950hp now but plan to try a 750 thats been worked over..ive been told so many time im over carb so i plan to try it...has a x-cal intake thats cleaned up and the cam works to 6500 so whats your thoughts on the things i listed ... car ran 7.54 last yr for the few times i had it out on 27/10.5 qtp with a 1.67 short time....love to inprove on this this yr. low 7's
