This '66 Formula S is on eBay right now and it's at $2500 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Plym...de2QQitemZ230444101090QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks

This car was on "racingjunk" all summer and we discussed it here on FABO( http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=78580)

The good news is that is appears to all original and it looks really decent in the picutes but from talking to the seller a few months ago it sounds like a rust bucket so I think someone's NOT going to be happy when they win this auction.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be tempted to buy it for $2500 but I know they want a lot more for it and it looks like it'll go for more.

there's an awful lot of language in that ad about "you win it you own it" and "sold as-is, as-described" but I don't see any mention of condition of the body/frame/rust areas. Someone really is going to be bummed. I wouldn't touch that car with a 100ft. pole.

Not a bad looking car from the photos, but like you said, there are usually hidden demons that could really make for a remorseful purchase. I would not buy a car without looking at it up close and personal myself. Looks like it could be a decent project though.

No harm done so long as reserve not met LOL

Usually a picture is worth a thousand words- but when buying a car from a distance words are everything. If the car ends up being different than how it is described in the auction, the deal is off. That is why the auction should list in detail what works, what doesn't, condition of a systems, glass, seats, where it is rusty, etc.
