I thought my Dart got lousy mileage

It must have that sixteen gallon tank everybody hates.

How much is that cheap fuel they run anyway

To tell the truth, I'm kind of surprised they put those gauges in the **** pit.
I would think they know basically what the fuel usage is per run, check it visually and add accordingly.
And speed?
Is the guy really going to watch the gauges going that fast?
Maybe engine temp to see it at the end of the run.
But what I'm saying things are happening so fast during the run that knowledge of real time speed, fuel quantity and G force are kind of irrelevant.
Maybe they have a computer to monitor and record these things and adding gauges weren't that big a deal to add?

Guessing that the fuel level is also in liters not gallons... But still WOW

Maybe just a recreated image primarily used for datalogging?

Looks like the gages are an add in. I have seen some top alcohol dragster cockpits there isnt much in them. In fact a buddy of mine has a BBC top alcohol digger and he has a tach, boost, and oil pressure. Thats it. BTW its an injected 500 inch big block chevy. 13 to 1 static compression , and total is 25 to 1 over driven with the blower. About 2,500 hp. he runs a mopar 8&3/4 with 489 chunk behind it. Says they dont blow up. I say awesome torture test for the mopar rear. He rolled it out of the trailer one day and started it up in the driveway next to his dining room window, and blew the dining room window out. Whoops LOL.
